My lawyer had sent several letters to Bernie�s lawyer without any response, and then several letters� direct to Bernie without any response. My lawyer then reminded that in his opinion the person to blame was actually Denise, and once again I protested, saying that she would not have done that to me. She may have turned into a lousy friend, but I thought for sure she was honest. So he agreed to send a letter to Denise that eliminated her from the contract legally which would have prevented her from getting sued and would have resolved all the problems.

After several weeks and no response I didn�t know what to expect, but I still trusted her. Not long after that I called her at home and she answered as if she was happy to be speaking to an old friend, at which point I said �do you know who this is?� and she very rudely replied �I do now!�. I could not believe the way she was now treating me on the phone, so I asked if she had received the letter and she said yes, but she would not sign it.

All my fears that all this time I had been wrong were coming true, and the person that was once my friend and I had defended to everyone was about to prove me wrong with my very next question.

The question was: �Did you claim the BSO money as belonging to you, just as Bernie stated?� Her response was �No Comment!� I then thanked her for proving me wrong, and hung up the phone.

My lawyer (as well as everyone else) was correct the whole time and I had been used for the benefit of others. I spent my life helping others, only to be betrayed and used by my best friend. I lost the website I spent 10 years building, I quit my job to help a friend, and used what little money I had to enable a friends son to go to school in the USA and fulfill his dream. In the end I lost everything and I have been set back financially more than 15 years because they successfully destroyed my credit rating.

I will never be able to own a home, or a new car, and I will never look for friendship again, and in fact I have not had a friend since the day I told Denise we were no long friends. I no longer can trust anyone, which means I can never love anyone, because it takes trust to love.

Do I blame Bernie and the WBF for all that has happened? Strangely no, because If Denise claimed the money (over $100,000.00 Australian) then he would end up in a lawsuit. I don�t blame him. This does not mean he will not end up in a lawsuit! In fact I fully expect him to threaten me once again with legal action because I have built this website, and I fully welcome that. My lawyer has been trying to contact him for months.

The person I do now blame and hold 100 percent responsible is Denise Hurley. I may have been sentimental in sticking up for her the whole time, and then even providing her with a legal document so she could not be held responsible, and even giving her the chance to tell me on the phone that she was not claiming my money, only to have her say NO COMMENT.

She used to state Friends for life, but I didn�t think she meant friends for life savings. Her and only her is the cause of me losing everything (directly). She also used to say they she was the best friend I would ever have. Sorry, but even my worst enemy never took everything I had for their own personal gain.

She was not the best friend I ever had, but she will remain the last.
